It started as a team of five; today, Renusol GmbH based in Cologne (Germany) has about 90 employees and is among the strongest growing businesses on the European PV mounting system market. The manufacturer of high-quality solutions is successful with its systems in many European countries, in some it is even the market leader.
5 years of company growth
The company started as Ubbink Econergy Solar GmbH in 2004; in 2005, it was integrated into CENTROSOLAR Group AG. 2006 was the year of the successful step onto the pan-European PV market. At the end of 2008, the company recorded already more than 1 million PV modules mounted on Renusol systems.
As at 01 January 2009, the company name was changed to Renusol GmbH with regard to the increased internationalisation. In August 2009, Renusol moved to its new premises in Piccoliministrasse in Cologne with its in the meantime 50 employees for product development, sales, marketing, administration, and logistics. With more than 5,000 m2 of warehouse and 800 m2 of office area, the new location offers the perfect conditions to successfully further promote the dynamic company development in Europe.
Universal quality products: from visions to solutions
Renusol GmbH develops and sells high-quality mounting systems for almost all current PV systems for commercial or private use: for the installation of framed and thin-film modules for full roof-integration (InterSole SE, InterSole XL, IntraSole CL), on-roof installation (VarioSole, VarioSole DS) and flat-roof installation (ConSole, ConSole DS), as well as for grond mounted installation (TerraSole). The mounting solutions are characterised by careful design and processing as well as by unrestricted compatibility with all solar modules. They are tested by the German Technical Inspection Association (TÜV) and fulfil the requirements of DIN 1055 on actions on structures. Thanks to stable, weather-resistant materials such as extruded aluminium, aluminium diecast and HDPE, all systems are reliable, resilient and designed for a long service life. All solutions are developed based on practicality for fast, straightforward installation. They meet all legal requirements of the relevant core countries.
Thanks to in-house product development, Renusol can respond quickly and flexibly to market changes such as the changed feed-in remuneration for BIPV (building-integrated photovoltaics) applicable in France starting 2010.
This way, IntraSole CL, a BIPV system in which the modules form the water-draining layer, was developed in just a few weeks. IntraSole meets all requirements for the highest aid amount and combines this with outstanding design and innovation.
Growth through sales expansion
Renusol also consistently takes its progressive growth strategy into account regarding personnel. The expansion of the management board was followed by the formation of a team of ten industry experts for field work for the core markets Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. The new sales structure ensures the personal care of the trading partners on-site and forms new business relations with distributors and installers with the support of a European Sales Manager. First signs of success can be measured among other things on the basis of a clearly increased customer portfolio.
Yet Renusol wants even more: in order to support the brand professionally, the business company is implementing a comprehensive marketing and PR strategy with the claim "From Visions to Solutions".
