Our company is constantly growing, even in the most complex periods, as the current economic crisis.
Comisa still boasts a constantly growing positive trend: the turnover increased from 9 million/€ in 2004 to 35 million/€ in 2013. Such a development supports the increased production capacity with a greater number of employees, rising from 18 to 67 units in the same lapse of time, not to mention the significant number of the subsidiary activities
There is a further matter of worth:
the investments in research and development of our products have risen up to the 3% of our turnover. This is a great way to create employment and make Comisa grow together with its territory.
Nowadays, Comisa products are installed in 47 countries worldwide. We can rely on a widespread sales network, ready to meet the needs of every customer in the plumbing, heating and solar energy markets.
PRODUCTION
When the pressure increases, we work better, as our products. We believe that the quality of our materials and their production is of utmost importance. The raw material we use in our products is brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, identified by the initials EN 12165 CW 617 N - destined to the hot molding and subsequent removal of chips - and EN 12164 CW 614 N - intended to mono/multi mandrel machining. The alloy we use is fully compliant with and perfect for the transition of drinking water, Din 50930.

We get our products by hot molding the brass and the subsequent chip removal with transfer machines. All those items that do not require molding undergo the mono/multi mandrel machining. COMISA multilayer pipe is a product of the latest generation, made with advanced technologies in the processing of polyethylene polymers. It combines the advantages of a PVC pipe and those of a metal tube. It is flexible and robust, resistant to high pressure and high temperatures.
Today, almost 45 years after the foundation of our company, our range of products includes over 3,000 items and “niche” products such as radiant heating, aimed at a small market only ten years ago, are the leading sectors of the company nowadays.
TECHNOLOGY
Technology is a cornerstone of our company, as we invested heavily in the latest findings in order to automate as much as possible the long and complex manufacturing process (hot molding, machining through transfer machines, assembly, testing and packaging). We design and manufacture the products atour production facilities in Italy and Switzerland, submitting our products to rigorous reliability tests in a specialized department, using equipment manufactured in compliance with the strictest current regulations, thus ensuring the highest quality standards. All of the above is performed with an eye to everyone’s well-being. Our research is particularly attentive to renewable energy, such as solar energy, ecology and protection of the human health.

GREEN ATTITUDE
Green light for everybody’s well-being. We believe that innovation means effectiveness and efficiency, even in terms of ecology and respect for the environment. Our Comisa Solar PV system has allowed us to produce 263,424.40 kWh of green energy. This means less consumption of non-renewable fossil fuels and a considerable reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, equivalent to 1371.2 kg of CO2 per year.
This self-produced green energy has spared the purchase of approximately 184,396.80 kWh of energy produced from fossil carbon.
