Assoclima presents its Manifesto on Heat Pumps: a shared commitment to the energy transition.

During the Shareholders' Meeting , held on December 11 in Vicenza, Assoclima officially presented the Manifesto “ Heat pumps: a tool for the industrial and energy transition ”, a programmatic document created with the aim of strengthening dialogue between institutions, businesses, consumer associations and citizens.

The initiative, developed in collaboration with Canale Energia, has attracted the support of numerous organizations, including Aeci, Cittadinanzattiva, Federconsumatori, Fratello Sole, and the Business and Consumer Observatory, marking an important step toward greater diffusion of heat pump technologies in the residential and tertiary sectors.

The growing need to ensure year-round climate comfort, combined with the pressure of the climate crisis, makes heat pumps a strategic solution for heating and cooling buildings . As emphasized during the Assembly, the technology allows for significant reductions in energy consumption and emissions, with economic returns already in the first years of use, especially when integrated with renewable sources.

The Manifesto highlights the need to:

• facilitate economic tools that make the installation of heat pumps more accessible;
• enhance the Italian and European supply chain , strengthening a leadership already recognized at European level;
• promote information campaigns and training courses aimed at citizens and professionals;
• define stable long-term policies capable of supporting the electrification of thermal uses and encouraging investments in the sector.

Assoclima's shared vision is clear: heat pumps represent not only an efficient technology, but a strategic pillar for the country's climate resilience and industrial competitiveness.

Italy, already a leading player in the sector with a supply chain that generates skilled employment and economic value, can lead the energy transition through targeted, stable, and forward-looking measures.
